These unique dishes can be used as a trinket dish or spoon rest or even a tea bag holder!  It measures approximately 6 inches across and 2 1/2 inches wide.  The NC shape sits on 3 small feet to raise it a bit off the counter or tablet.  It is made from Stoneware from Asheville NC and glazed in a variety of glazes and fired in a 2200 degree ceramic kiln.  The finished product is food safe and is safe to be put in the microwave or dishwasher.  Each dish is handmade and shaped, so no 2 will be exactly the same.  Some bow up a bit more, some have a bigger belly and some will be flatter.  They are all unique!
